Our organization Diganta Welfare Society is dedicated to promoting human welfare and understands the urgent requirement for clothing among underprivileged individuals facing financial constraints. Through our cloth distribution initiatives, we strive to provide essential garments to those who have limited resources. By addressing this fundamental need, we aim to enhance the well-being and dignity of marginalized communities, fostering a society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Cultural program
Every year, our organization organizes a vibrant Cultural Program, which serves as a platform for talented children to showcase their diverse artistic talents. With great enthusiasm, they participate in singing, dancing, reciting, and various other artistic endeavors. This program is filled with joy, celebration, and cultural exchange, providing a memorable experience for all involved. It allows our participants to express their creativity and exhibit their skills, making it a truly remarkable showcase of talent and cultural richness..
Magic show for Medical Support
Diganta Welfare Society organized a delightful magic show for children, aiming to bring a little joy and entertainment into their lives. This show was filled with excitement and wonder as the magician performed mesmerizing tricks and illusions. The children were enthralled by the magical performances, laughter filled the air, and smiles adorned their faces. Through this enchanting experience. we sought to create moments of happiness and create lasting memories for these young ones to cherish.
Drawing School
Art has a language of its own. Diganta Welfare Society is using this medium to bring about change through free drawing training for children at various places across Habra, West Bengal. This drawing training center gives us the opportunity to mold a child’s personality and separate them and create a colorful space for the future. The initiatives we have taken show how color and drawing can make a difference for the people and children in our society and provide a better life.
Our vision is not only to focus on drawing education but also to encourage and nurture their extra talents. The drawing curriculum at our drawing school is designed so that children can quickly learn new skills in a friendly environment.
Educational Kits Distribution
There is a lot of talent hidden around us. Every human being is talented in one way or another. When we went to work for society, we noticed that there are many helpless poor children, young people who are very talented. So our organization has helped those children, young people to showcase their talents and build education as their strength. We started our activities by distributing educational tools like books, pens, pencils, exercise books, notebooks, etc. We want to take everyone forward in this way in the future also.
Mask & Sanitizer Distribution
Our trust is trying its best in areas of prevention, protection, fighting, and preparing everyone to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Our volunteers helped in maintaining social distancing. Our volunteers are aware of the people about how to maintain social distance, how to wash their hands frequently, how to use masks. We distributed free poly masks, hand sanitizers, soaps against Corona Virus, etc.
Ration Kits Distribution
Diganta Welfare Society provides an essential link between the food supply chain and the needy people. Organizations that serve the community. We encourage everyone to commit to reducing food waste and also redirecting their surplus to feed those in need. The program acquires donated surplus food & ration products including grains and packaged food as well as funds for sponsored mid-day meals or breakfasts and makes them available to people who are hungry or lack nutritional food. We have helped those helpless by serving them some dry fruits, ration kits like wheat, rice, dal, spices, oil, etc.
Social Awareness
India is a huge populous country and West Bengal is the most crowded state in India. People are not so conscious or much wiser. Mainly people in remote areas where many of them are not educated and are not socially aware. We have raised awareness of all government programs such as health infectious diseases, marketing, and small-scale industries. And through this campaign, we all try to make them aware and advise them to stay safe.
Cake Making Training
Today, anywhere in the world, you can find a simple form of celebration for birthday, wedding or cake cutting. Cakes made with fruit, chocolate, cream, or more have come a long way from the history of the basic pound variety. Students or anyone have this program with them to make their cake products or to produce them commercially with confidence, and to be confident. Anyone can choose this as a lucrative hobby and start a home-based bakery and start a business.
Covid Relief
While the whole world has been shaken by Covid-19, HDWS has created awareness in many schools and villages but has not stopped at that time and has distributed free masks, sanitizers, and face shields. Every office bearer, board of directors of our organization is working not as a leader but as a servant of the people. Inadequate to Covid Center trying to give a falling machine.
We all know the world is facing a devastating situation Covid-19 for the last 2 years, we have served more to helpless by our relief camp even in this situation.

Disaster Relief
Many times nature expresses its anger and resentment towards us and as a result, we face floods, earthquakes, and storms. Natural disasters often wreak havoc on us financially and personally. Whenever this happens we try to stand by those victims in the wrath of nature. We serve them through our relief camps, though not completely, we try to make them smile. Such a devastating storm Amphan was faced by the people of West Bengal. At that moment, people were crying about losing their loved ones and losing everything. The situation was very heartbreaking. Nevertheless, we have tried our best to reach out to those helpless people in every possible way. Also at this devastating stage like Covid-19, we are still serving more of the helpless through our relief camps in this situation.
Tree Distribution
Committed to the noble work of protecting the environment, Diganta Welfare Society celebrates World Environment Day on the 5th of June with great zeal. Our president Mr Tirthankar Dey, secretary Sanjib Halder and Advisory Committee Member Mr Amar Purification begin the celebration by taking the initiative to distribute plants among local residents, emphasizing the significance of trees in conserving our environment. Through this act, we aim to raise awareness about environmental preservation and inspire everyone to contribute to a greener world. Together, let’s nurture our planet and secure a sustainable future for generations to come. Join us in this vital mission and be a part of the change for a better tomorrow.
